Lent is a season of prayers and reflection in preparation for Easter. Lent begins on February 10th (Ash Wednesday) and ends on March 26th, the Saturday before Easter. Using this calendar as a guide gives us a prayer focus every day. We pray together as a congregation, believing that God is working through our prayers and these scriptures.

At Lakewood, we desire to be a community that invites others into a life-changing relationship with Jesus Christ by embodying God’s love and grace to the world. Our focus is on making, becoming, and growing as disciples of Jesus Christ who are committed to making a difference in the world. We believe that this happens as we LIVE, LEARN, and LOVE together.
