Bring a 4" x 6" framed photo of your loved one to the Commons October 13 - 27. & 2020 Kenya Mission Informational Meeting

Guest Justus Marete

Mr. Justus Marete, Kenyan brother in Christ and newly selected CEO of Maua Methodist Hospital will be visiting Lakewood UMC, along with his wife, Christine Marete and also Kathie Mann (GBGM Volunteer Missionary serving at MMH). Mr. Marete has served in executive leadership roles in a number of health care and hospital organizations in Kenya including the African Inland Church Kijabe Hospital, and also BethanyKids which is a compassionate Christian healthcare mission for vulnerable African children. He has also served previously in the Kenya Ministry of Health where he served in various management roles for hospitals and trained new hospital leaders. In summary Mr. Marete’s background and his mission is to serve organizations that provide compassionate Christian health and Spiritual care to the needy in Kenya. 


2020 Kenya Mission Informational Meeting

Regarding the 2020 Kenya Mission and the Maua Methodist Hospital in Kenya that Lakewood Supports

At Noon on November 3, there will be an informational meeting regarding the planned Lakewood 2020 Kenya Mission to the Maua Methodist Hospital (MMH) and personnel from MMH will be talking about the needs and challenges they face and how churches are assisting them.
