FACILITY COORDINATOR

Lakewood UMC is looking for a highly-motivated, team-oriented, and problem-solving person to manage and maintain our church campus. This full time position will be responsible for property management that relates to the use of all church owned facilities, safety and insurance, and repair and renovation. This person will be responsible for developing and managing the annual maintenance budget in conjunction with the Coordinator of Business and Finance/Trustees. This person will oversee the scheduling and programming of HVAC, alarm/mechanical systems and manage on-site custodial staff and for coordinating all outside vendors (including church volunteers) for maintenance and repair including the review and approval of vendor invoices. Their presence is required on all large church events, Sunday mornings and Trustee meetings. We are currently accepting resumes to be considered for this position at trustees@lakewoodumc.org.

* Love solving problems, identifying process improvement opportunities, and managing maintenance issues

* Ability to learn HVAC and scheduling computer systems

* Strong organizational, planning, and developing skills

* Ability to manage multiple tasks

* Budget and financial accountability

* Ability to learn and manage all building licensing and safety issues

* Able to do physical tasks


Education/Skills

* Preferred Bachelor's degree level education

* Property management/construction experience helpful
